More than 100 people were killed in a drone attack on a Syrian military training course

Hundreds of people have been killed and many injured in a drone attack while a military training exercise was being held in Syria.
On October 5th, a military training academy in Hoon City was holding a graduation ceremony, and while the cadets and their families were gathering, they were attacked by drones that suddenly flew in. Drones carrying explosives targeted cadets and large crowds of spectators, women, Many people, including children, were killed, witnesses said.
In Syria, there are many rebel organizations that are fighting against the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, who is ruling dictatorially, and the Syrian army has accused that this act was committed by a terrorist rebel force that is already known internationally. However, it has not yet been confirmed exactly which organization is responsible.
During the protracted civil war in Syria, both the revolutionary forces and Terrorist Jihadist forces emerged. The Syrian government has now regained control of almost all of the country’s territory, but cells of the armed opposition movement are still widespread.
It is believed that the drones used in the attack were sent from the areas controlled by the revolutionary forces located in the northwest of Huan city.
In a release from the Ministry of Health, more than 100 people died and more than 200 were injured. Among the dead were 6 children and 6 women.
In a video circulating on social media, people are seen lying dead in a pool of blood in the field of a military parade. Relatives were seen frantically calling for help, and gunshots were heard in the background, believed to be drones being shot down.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the Syrian Defense Minister attended the ceremony but left minutes before the attack.
Syria’s civil war began in 2011 when Assad’s government brutally cracked down on peaceful pro-democracy protesters. As a result of the armed conflicts that broke out across the country, more than 6.8 million people have been internally displaced, and another 6 million have fled to foreign countries.
